Mark is a qualified Leadership and Performance Coach and trainer. Mark holds a Psychology and Sociology degree from Leeds University and has always maintained a keen interest in human behaviour, he has practiced Mindfulness since 2011.
Following 25 years management experience in the voluntary community sector developing and running projects for large National and regional Charities, Mark set up an online video company whilst also providing consultancy to the housing and homelessness sector and setting up and running a local North East Charity, Space For Peace.
In 2015 Mark became a Director at Mindful Therapies, a Social Enterprise providing training in Mindfulness and positive Psychology. Mindful Therapies deliver a range of Mindfulness based products and services to the general public, community organisations and the private and public sector. Mark’s role within Mindful Therapies is focussed on delivering and developing staff mindfulness programs for local businesses and specialist Mindfulness and Leadership coaching to managers in the public, private and voluntary sector. Mark was instrumental in developing Mindful Therapies ‘Mindful Attitudes at Work’ 9 week course. Mark is also qualified to deliver WorkplaceMT©, a 6 week mindfulness programme
