Given the average British worker will put in 84,171 hours of work and spend 3,507 days at work in their lifetime, mental health and well-being must be on employers’, as well as our personal, agenda.  In this session Clare will provide the whistle-stop tour of the key features of ‘The Stevenson-Farmer review of mental health and employers, Thriving at Work, (2017)’ as well as the updated NICE guidelines about mental wellbeing at work, in order to provide practical advice on how employers can support employees to thrive at work because ultimately, we know, that taking care of staff wellbeing is not just the “decent thing to do” it is a genuine business case.
